Thought

"My style of painting is a modern expression of NIHON-GA. It entails blending natural minerals or chemical pigments with NIKAWA-glue and water which is applied to Japanese WASHI paper. I enjoy painting any subject and depend upon my feelings to direct me. Lately, I tend to be more impressionistic in my work."

My attraction to NIHON-GA stems from its Japanese tradition and its employment of fine color.
